Pericom Semiconductor Announces Postponement of Earnings Announcement and Conference Call |

San Jose, CA, 2005-01-26 - Pericom Semiconductor Corporation
[Nasdaq National Market: PSEM] today announced that the fiscal second quarter
earnings release and conference call scheduled for Thursday,
January 27, 2005
will be delayed. A press release announcing the rescheduled time will be issued
not later than Monday, January 31, 2005. The
earnings release and conference
are expected to occur not later than Thursday, February 3, 2005.
The Company is assessing additional
required inventory reserves at December
31, 2004. These reserves are associated with discontinued end-of-life (“EOL”)
products
that were announced to the Company’s customer base in June 2004.
December 15, 2004 was the end of the time period customers had to
place orders
for EOL products. As a result, Management requires additional time to properly
assess and document these reserves. |
