San Jose, CA, 2006-02-23 - Pericom Semiconductor
Corporation (NASDAQ: PSEM), today announced that it has initiated a search for a new independent registered public accounting firm after being notified
on February 16, 2006 by Deloitte & Touche LLP of its decision to resign as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm.
Alex C. Hui, Pericom’s President, CEO and Interim CFO, said that, “We plan to engage a new independent registered public
accounting firm in the near future. Accordingly, we do not expect that the selection of a new independent registered public accounting firm will delay the
timing of our quarterly and year-end financial reporting.”
