Corporation (NASDAQ: PSEM), a worldwide preferred supplier of high-speed integrated circuits and frequency control devices, is announcing that
PI3HDMI412-A officially passed the HDMI Test Specification, revision 1.1, at the HDMI Authorized Testing Center, Silicon Image Inc. The HDMI
(High-Definition Multimedia Interface) compliance certificate places Pericom at the forefront with the only TMDS (Transition Minimized Differential
Signaling) signal switch solution that can claim compliance.
"One of the main reasons we are getting design wins with some of the major
television, set-top box,
and LCD monitor companies is due to our extensive knowledge in regards to ATC compliance testing.
This HDMI ATC

switching, offering full 1920x1080 high definition resolution for
their high end video/audio consumer
applications" said Shaf Rahman, Pericom Marketing Director. "Just as we were first to market with a
Gigabit
Ethernet Switch, first to market with a USB 2.0 high-speed Switch, first to market with a PCI
Express Switch, first to market with a SATA Switch, and
first to market with a XAUI Switch, we were
also first to market with our TMDS Signal Switch," Rahman continued.
