Title Entry Level Product Marketing Engineer

  • As an Entry Level Product Marketing Engineer, you must have a thirst for knowledge and growth. You will be tested and stretched professionally but your questions, eagerness to progress and willingness to accept full responsibility for all projects and training given will be| the catalyst that pushes you forward. You will be fully supported by your supervisor and other team members. However, as the PME you will take full ownership of the USB Switch roadmap. This will include the creation and success of the demand for Pericom’s USB switch products, working in tandem with other team members, managing existing products within the USB family and helping to define the market positioning, strategies and setting realistic goals.
  • The PME must also support sales/FAEs in their efforts to drive design wins through weekly tracking and follow up.
  • The PME will have hands-on direct interface with customers, field sales, applications and
    design groups.
  • The PME will also manage all partnership efforts with chipset partners to ensure the effective growth of the product line.
Requirements
  • BSEE degree or equivalent, MBA preferred (high speed analog background a plus)
  • 0-3 years of experience in marketing
  • Semiconductor experience preferred
  • Evidence of good decision making and problem solving abilities
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Able to learn quickly and efficiently
  • Excellent communication in writing skills
  • Must have current hands on experience in all MS Office products
  • Must be able to travel internationally/nationally at least 30%
