Summary
Directs engineering team in US and Overseas to design and develop advanced frequency control products (FCP) such as crystal, crystal oscillators, VCXO etc. which meet project schedule. Make sure new products have good yield and good quality in manufacturing.
- Work with key customers to understand their system requirement and come out with new products with right specification together with marketing and application.
- Define and lead and execute company’s FCP technology & new product roadmap.
- Lead team to solve customer application and quality issues for FCP products as needed.
Lead team to work with overseas manufacturing partners/suppliers on product implementation and solve manufacturing problems.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Requires advanced technical degree and at least ten years of related experience, including supervision
- Experience and expertise in design and manufacturing of frequency control products, especially crystal, crystal oscillators and VCXO.
- Experience and expertise in system application of frequency control products. Knowledge of market requirements.
- Proven leadership and management skills to lead technical team and get good results on schedule.
- Skills to carry out research projects
- Good communication skill and people skill to interface and work with customers and suppliers
- Team player: can work well with other departments within company to achieve company goal
- Ability to speak Mandarin a plus but not necessary
