Supports the PCI Express Specifications and Bandwidth
Splits the x16 graphics link into two x8 PCI Express links, if supported by the chipset
Splits the x8 PCI Express link into two x4 PCI Express links, if supported by the chipset
Used for redundancy on the blade server
